Great experience. Room was clean and spacious. Front desk agent (Selina) was very friendly. Candace was super helpful on the phone when I needed support.

The staff at the Matteson, Il Hampton Inn is the reason our stay was exceptional. From Nadia at the front desk to Kevin in housekeeping and everyone else at this location were friendly, helpful, and the reason we’ll stay there again.

The room was great. The only gripe I have is the shower was super hard to get the water to the right temperature. It was either way too hot or too cold

Hello. Staying here from Maryland 23Dec-3Jan 2026. Everything is great. Had one incident with noise after hours and directed to hotel personnel who called in complaint. Noise continued well past 12AM nonetheless. Not the hotels fault. They did what they could and some people are just not respectful of the rules. Didn't want hotel staff to get in conflict nor me….Again, all good and whoever reads this remember to be courteous to all. Have a Happy New Year! USMC Retired.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Matteson. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. I would especially like to recognize Jasmine A. from housekeeping. She went above and beyond to help us and was truly amazing. Her kindness and dedication made a lasting impression. There was one minor concern during an interaction at the front desk regarding a bottle of water that could have been handled more discreetly. However, this did not take away from an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, I had a great stay and would absolutely return. Thank you to Jasmine A. and the team for providing such wonderful service.

The front desk attendant Selena was very helpful when I asked her about the rooms and accommodations. I was looking for a place for my wedding party to stay for my wedding and she was super helpful. Even showed me the different room options they had. This hotel was super clean and very nice compared to the other hotels in the area. It was also super quiet and the grounds were kept clean. The residents who I spoke with were also very pleased with the hotel. They said it was clean and their beds and space were clean and super comfortable. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We stayed here for our Thanksgiving trip to Chicago. First, customer service, outstanding! Second, the breakfast came in handy as well as the 24 hour tea and coffee stand. The room was nice, beds were comfortable in the hotel altogether was very clean and well kept. The last thing I would love to mention, is Our room, cleaning staff and The front desk, especially Nadia! She checked us in, but the most important part is my son left his headphones when we checked out. Once we got to the airport, we realized that so I called back to the hotel to let them know. They found the headphones, and mailed them directly to us. It is so comforting to know that there are still honest people in this world, and I pray God blesses them extra special this holiday season.

Stayed recently at the Hampton Inn Matteson and had the friendliest service we ever experienced at a hotel. Front desk was helpful, housekeeping was gracious and kind and the rooms were tidy. Had a difficult task on my trip and my business was not pleasant but I sure didn’t have to worry about anything when I went to my hotel. The ladies who take care of breakfast were so sweet and always made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone at that hotel needs a raise ASAP. Abbey Wood Room 217
